ABOUT THE ROLE & OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Executive to oversee end-to-end product quality from the early development stage through final production. In this role, you will take complete ownership of defect prevention, sample risk assessments, and compliance with buyer specifications, ensuring all outgoing goods meet flawless quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take complete ownership of product quality across all stages, from product development to final production.
- Inspect and ensure that all finished goods dispatched to clients strictly match buyer specifications, manuals, and defect-free standards.
- Identify manufacturing, material, or stitching faults quickly and accurately on the floor.
- Perform proactive risk assessments on sample developments and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Place special focus on the inspection of new product lines, incoming leather varieties, and hardware trims during sampling and development.
- Communicate and report significant QC issues promptly to relevant production and management departments.
- Maintain daily quality logs, audit checklists, and digital inspection reports.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & REQUIREMENTS
- Experience: 4–5 years of dedicated QC experience in leather and non-leather goods manufacturing (bags, wallets, small leather goods, travel gear).
- Process Knowledge: In-depth understanding of quality assurance, AQL standards, and stage-wise inspection workflows.
- Technical Understanding: Proven ability to read, interpret, and implement buyer tech packs, instruction manuals, and quality guidelines.
- Digital Literacy: Basic computer proficiency with MS Office (Word/Excel) to enter data and update inspection reports.
- Communication & Detail: Strong observational skills, accurate defect documentation, and clear cross-departmental communication.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
