We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled System Administrator to manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of hardware, software, networks, and security systems while providing timely technical support to employees. This role requires a problem-solver who can maintain high system availability, implement IT best practices, and continuously improve the organization's technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, software applications, and peripheral devices.
- Administer and monitor network infrastructure, servers, routers, switches, Wi-Fi, and other technology tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Create, configure, and manage user accounts, email accounts, access permissions, and workstations for new and existing employees.
- Monitor system health, performance, storage, and uptime, taking preventive measures to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure the security of IT systems through user access controls, antivirus solutions, firewall management, data backups, and regular security updates.
- Perform routine system upgrades, software patching, and deployment of new releases and technology enhancements.
- Maintain and test backup and disaster recovery processes to ensure business continuity.
- Manage IT assets, including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, biometric devices, networking equipment, and other office hardware.
- Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs for hardware issues, including printers, scanners, conference room equipment, and other peripherals.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for procurement, warranty claims, AMC management, and technical support.
- Maintain an inventory of IT assets, licenses, warranties, and software subscriptions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, user manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and an internal IT knowledge base/wiki.
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding employees by provisioning and de-provisioning IT resources.
- Recommend improvements to IT infrastructure, system performance, security, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified, Cisco (CCNA), CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or equivalent will be an advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience as a System Administrator, IT Administrator, or similar role.
- Experience managing Windows environments, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, networking, and endpoint devices.
- Experience with firewalls, backups, antivirus solutions, virtualization, and cloud-based collaboration platforms is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and server administration.
- Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN/WAN).
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and user management.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and endpoint security.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and networking devices.
- Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and respond effectively to IT incidents.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Batch, or Bash) for automation.
- Knowledge of IT asset management and ticketing systems.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
