Job Title: Staff Nurse (OT / ICU)
Location: Valasaravakkam, Chennai
Qualification: GNM / B.Sc. Nursing
Experience: Minimum 1+ Year in OT or ICU Nursing
Shift: Day Shift – 7 Hours | Night Shift – 12 Hours
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional nursing care to patients in the OT or ICU department.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, vital signs, and progress.
- Assist doctors and surgeons during medical procedures and surgeries.
- Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Ensure proper infection control practices and adherence to hospital policies.
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment and supplies required for patient care.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and post-care instructions.
- Coordinate effectively with doctors, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
Requirements
- GNM or B.Sc. Nursing qualification from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in OT Nursing or ICU Nursing.
- Valid Nursing Council Registration.
- Good knowledge of patient care procedures, infection control, and emergency response protocols.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and handle critical situations effectively.
- Compassionate, responsible, and patient-focused approach.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in handling critical care patients.
- Knowledge of OT procedures, surgical instruments, and ICU equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Strong teamwork and coordination skills.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
