Responsible for assisting with day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting GST compliance, managing invoices, and ensuring smooth financial processes. The role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
- Record daily financial transactions in accounting software (e.g., Tally/Busy/Zoho Books).
- Prepare and maintain sales invoices, purchase invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
- Process vendor bills and customer payments.
- Perform bank reconciliation and cash book reconciliation.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Assist in GST filing by preparing purchase and sales data.
- Verify GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance documents.
- Prepare payment vouchers and maintain expense records.
- Track outstanding payments and follow up with customers when required.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding invoices and payment schedules.
- Maintain inventory-related accounting records in coordination with the operations team.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Support external auditors and Chartered Accountants by providing required financial documents.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital accounting records.
- Generate MIS reports and financial summaries for management.
- Perform other finance and administrative tasks as assigned.
