Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Pharmacy Store Incharge to manage the end-to-end operations of a newly launched retail pharmacy store. The role requires strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, inventory control, customer service, and regulatory compliance. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, driving sales, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and ethical pharmacy practices.
Key ResponsibilitiesStore Operations & Management
- Oversee daily operations of the pharmacy store
- Ensure smooth billing, dispensing, and customer service processes
- Maintain store hygiene, layout, and visual merchandising standards
- Handle opening and closing of the store
Inventory & Stock Management
- Manage stock levels, expiry tracking, and reorder planning
- Coordinate with distributors and suppliers for timely procurement
- Ensure zero stock-outs of critical medicines
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliation
Customer Service
- Ensure high-quality customer service and patient satisfaction
- Guide customers regarding OTC medicines and general product queries
- Handle escalations and resolve complaints effectively
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and licensing requirements
- Maintain proper documentation for prescriptions and controlled drugs
- Ensure adherence to storage norms for medicines
Team Management
- Supervise pharmacists, assistants, and billing executives
- Schedule shifts and ensure manpower availability
- Train staff on product knowledge and customer handling
Sales & Business Growth
- Achieve monthly sales targets and improve store profitability
- Promote health products, OTC items, and wellness categories
- Support local marketing and promotional activities
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in Pharmacy (D.Pharm / B.Pharm preferred)
- Valid pharmacy registration (State Pharmacy Council)
- 3–7 years of experience in retail pharmacy operations
- Prior experience as Store Incharge / Pharmacist preferred
