We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in the Textile Industry, specifically in Embroidery Operations. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end production activities, machine operations, quality control, manpower management, production planning, and operational efficiency to ensure timely delivery and superior product quality.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & Operations Management
- Manage and oversee daily textile and embroidery production operations.
- Plan, schedule, and monitor production activities to meet delivery timelines.
- Ensure optimum utilization of embroidery machines, manpower, and resources.
- Monitor production efficiency, machine productivity, and output targets.
- Coordinate with Production, Merchandising, Quality, and Dispatch teams for smooth workflow.
Embroidery Machine Expertise
- Possess strong knowledge of multi-head embroidery machines and related production processes.
- Troubleshoot machine-related issues and coordinate with maintenance teams.
- Monitor machine performance, downtime, and efficiency.
- Ensure proper machine settings, thread usage, design execution, and production quality.
Quality Control & Assurance
- Establish and maintain quality standards across all production stages.
- Conduct quality inspections for embroidery work, fabric quality, stitching, finishing, and packing.
- Identify defects, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality requirements.
- Minimize rejection rates, rework, and production losses.
Team & Workforce Management
- Supervise production supervisors, machine operators, quality inspectors, and support staff.
- Manage manpower planning, attendance, productivity, and performance.
- Train and develop employees on quality standards, machine handling, and operational procedures.
- Maintain discipline, safety, and compliance within the production floor.
Process Improvement & Reporting
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Monitor production KPIs and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Textile Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Textile Manufacturing Operations.
- Hands-on experience with Embroidery Machines and Embroidery Production Processes.
- Strong understanding of Textile Quality Standards and Quality Control Procedures.
- Experience in production planning, machine management, and workforce supervision.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
