Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Summary
Bosco Group of Schools is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the financial operations of the Group Head Office. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Tally Prime, finalisation of accounts, GST, payroll, statutory compliance, documentation, taxation, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain complete books of accounts using Tally Prime/ERP.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Process vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and banking transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Finalise books of accounts and coordinate with statutory auditors during annual audits.
- Prepare schedules, ledgers, and supporting documents required for account finalisation.
- Manage monthly payroll, salary processing, PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
- Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and ensure timely statutory compliance.
- Maintain proper accounting records, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare MIS reports, budgets, cash flow statements, and financial analyses.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and ensure proper financial documentation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation laws, and Trust regulations.
Qualifications
- B.Com (Mandatory)
- M.Com / CA Inter / MBA Finance (Preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience (Experience in schools, educational institutions, or charitable trusts will be preferred.)
Required Skills
- ✔ Expert in Tally Prime/ERP
- ✔ Strong knowledge of Finalisation of Accounts
- ✔ Hands-on experience in GST, TDS, Payroll, Banking & Statutory Compliance
- ✔ Excellent documentation and record management skills
- ✔ Proficient in MS Excel and Microsoft Office
- ✔ Ability to prepare financial reports and coordinate with auditors
- ✔ Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- ✔ High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality
