Varija Lifestyles is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and analytical E-commerce Accountant to manage accounting operations related to online sales channels, marketplace reconciliations, financial reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with major e-commerce marketplaces such as Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, and D2C websites, along with strong expertise in Tally, Advanced Excel, and financial analysis.
Key Responsibility
- Manage accounting operations for all e-commerce platforms including Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, and company-owned websites.
- Perform daily sales matching and reconciliation with payment gateways and marketplace settlement reports.
- Record accounting entries and maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally.
- Monitor receivables, settlements, refunds, returns, chargebacks, commissions, and marketplace deductions.
- Conduct regular reconciliation of sales, inventory, and payment settlements.
- Support GST filing, GST reconciliation, and statutory compliance activities.
- Handle TDS reconciliation and monitor vendor deductions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports and sales analysis reports.
- Coordinate with operations, logistics, and accounts teams for smooth month-end and year-end closures.
- Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records, documentation, and audit support.
- Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues related to online sales channels.
Qualification
- Strong knowledge of E-commerce Accounting and Marketplace Reconciliation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Additional certifications in Accounting, GST, or Finance will be preferred.
- 4–8 years of experience in E-commerce Accounting.
- Prior experience handling Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, Ajio, Nykaa Fashion, or similar marketplaces.
- Candidates from Fashion, Apparel, Retail, Lifestyle, or Consumer Brands will be preferred.
- Experience working in a multi-channel retail environment will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Advanced Excel skills including: VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
