Esthète Creations is looking for a Creative Director who can take ownership of the complete creative production process, from the initial idea to the final output.
The Creative Director will be responsible for developing creative concepts, translating ideas into executable productions, coordinating shoots, guiding the creative team, managing production requirements, and ensuring the final video meets the expected creative and quality standards.
This role requires a strong combination of creative thinking, visual storytelling, production knowledge, leadership, and execution ability.
The ideal candidate should be able to take a campaign brief and drive it through the entire journey:
Concept → Pre-Production → Shoot → Post-Production → Final Output
Key Responsibilities
1. Creative Concept & Direction
- Develop creative concepts for brand campaigns, advertisements, social media content, reels, product videos, and other visual communication.
- Understand client objectives and translate them into strong creative ideas.
- Develop the visual direction, storytelling approach, tone, mood, and overall look of each production.
- Create or guide the development of scripts, storyboards, references, shot lists, and creative treatments.
- Ensure every production has a clear creative objective before moving into execution.
- Present and communicate creative concepts internally and, when required, to clients.
2. Pre-Production Planning
- Take complete creative ownership of the pre-production process.
- Develop production plans based on the creative requirements.
- Coordinate with the team on:
- Locations
- Models/actors
- Props
- Costumes
- Styling
- Makeup
- Equipment
- Set requirements
- Production crew
- Schedules
- Prepare detailed shot lists and visual references.
- Ensure all creative and production requirements are confirmed before the shoot.
- Identify potential production challenges and develop solutions in advance.
- Coordinate with the Account / Client Servicing team to ensure client requirements are clearly understood.
3. Shoot Coordination & Direction
- Take responsibility for the creative execution during shoots.
- Direct models, actors, presenters, and other talent when required.
- Guide the photographer, cinematographer, videographer, and production team according to the creative direction.
- Ensure the planned shots, compositions, performances, and visual elements are captured correctly.
- Make real-time creative decisions when situations change during production.
- Ensure the shoot stays aligned with the approved concept and visual direction.
- Monitor the overall quality of footage being captured.
- Ensure all required shots and additional content requirements are completed before wrapping the shoot.
4. Post-Production Direction
- Take creative ownership of the project from raw footage to final output.
- Brief and guide the Video Editor / Creative Video Visualiser.
- Provide clear references, editing direction, pacing, music direction, transitions, typography, colour treatment, and visual effects requirements.
- Review initial edits and provide structured feedback.
- Ensure the final edit reflects the original creative concept.
- Coordinate with editors, motion designers, sound designers, colourists, and other specialists when required.
- Oversee revisions and ensure changes are implemented correctly.
5. Final Output & Quality Control
- Review the final video before internal and client submission.
- Ensure the final output meets creative, technical, and brand standards.

- Aspect ratios
- Platform requirements
- Ensure the final output is delivered in the correct format and specifications.
- Take ownership of the final creative quality rather than simply approving the editor's work.
6. Creative Team Management
- Lead and guide Creative Visualisers, Creative Video Visualisers, designers, editors, and other creative team members involved in productions.
- Allocate creative responsibilities based on project requirements and team capabilities.
- Review work at different stages of production.
- Provide constructive feedback and creative direction.
- Build a consistent creative standard across the agency's work.
- Mentor junior team members and help improve their creative and technical skills.
- Encourage experimentation with new visual styles, production techniques, AI tools, and emerging formats.
7. AI & New-Age Production
- Explore AI tools for concept development, pre-visualisation, image generation, video generation, storyboarding, editing, and post-production.
- Identify opportunities to combine traditional production with AI-generated assets.
- Experiment with new creative technologies to improve production quality and efficiency.
- Keep the creative team updated on relevant AI tools, visual trends, and production techniques.
8. Client & Internal Coordination
- Work closely with Account Managers / Client Servicing teams to understand client requirements.
- Participate in creative discussions and client presentations when required.
- Communicate production requirements clearly to internal teams.
- Manage expectations around creative possibilities, production limitations, timelines, and deliverables.
- Ensure the approved creative direction remains consistent throughout execution.
Creative Leadership
The Creative Director is expected to be the creative owner of every production.
The responsibility is not limited to giving ideas or approving the final edit.

The Creative Director does not necessarily need to be the person operating every software tool. However, they should understand the capabilities and limitations of the tools well enough to direct the team effectively.
Experience & Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in creative direction, advertising, video production, filmmaking, content production, or a related field.
- Previous experience handling complete productions from concept to final output.
- Experience working with creative agencies, production houses, advertising brands, or digital media companies is preferred.
- Experience directing commercial, social media, fashion, product, lifestyle, or brand shoots is an advantage.
- A strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating creative direction and production work is essential.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
