Key ResponsibilitiesProject Development & Planning
- Lead project feasibility studies, techno-commercial evaluations, and project planning.
- Develop project execution strategies, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with consultants for basic and detailed engineering.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
Engineering & Design Management
- Review and approve engineering drawings, layouts, process flow diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with technology licensors, consultants, and engineering agencies.
- Ensure engineering deliverables meet project objectives and statutory requirements.
Procurement & Contract Management
- Finalize technical specifications for major equipment and packages.
- Manage procurement activities for long-lead equipment and critical materials.
- Evaluate vendors and contractors and oversee contract execution.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure timely delivery.
Construction Management
- Direct all site construction activities, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and utility works.
- Ensure compliance with project schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Resolve construction bottlenecks and coordinate among contractors.
Commissioning & Project Handover
- Lead pre-commissioning, cold commissioning, hot commissioning, and performance trials.
- Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams for smooth plant handover.
- Ensure achievement of guaranteed plant performance parameters.
Cost & Schedule Control
- Monitor project progress using project management tools.
- Control CAPEX within approved budgets.
- Review project milestones and implement corrective measures to avoid delays.
- Prepare periodic MIS and project status reports for management.
Statutory Compliance
- Coordinate with government authorities for project approvals and statutory clearances.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, pollution control, electrical, factory, and safety regulations.
Leadership
- Lead multidisciplinary teams comprising engineering, procurement, planning, construction, commissioning, and project controls.
- Mentor project managers and engineers.
- Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.
Required Technical Expertise
- End-to-end execution of Ferro Alloys projects.
- Greenfield and Brownfield project management.
- Submerged Arc Furnace (SAF) installation and commissioning.
- Raw material handling systems.
- Crushing, screening, batching, and material conveying systems.
- Gas cleaning and pollution control systems.
- Electrical substations, power distribution, and utilities.
- Project scheduling using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- EPC contract management.
- CAPEX planning and project cost control.
- Risk management and value engineering.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated success in executing large Ferro Alloys manufacturing projects from concept to commissioning.
- Strong expertise in project planning, engineering coordination, construction management, and commissioning.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple contractors, consultants, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on timely project delivery and cost optimization.
- Willingness to work at project sites and travel extensively.

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
