Job Title: Systems Embedded Engineer – Prism Hardware Assembly & ValidationRole Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Systems Embedded Engineer to support the Prism hardware program, including PCB assembly coordination, embedded firmware bring-up, hardware debugging, sensor integration, test automation, and proof-gated validation. The role requires strong practical ability across electronics, embedded systems, instrumentation, and bench-level troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support PCB assembly, inspection, bring-up, and debugging for Prism hardware boards.
- Work with microcontrollers, sensors, ADCs, DACs, power monitoring circuits, communication buses, and mixed-signal electronics.
- Develop and test embedded firmware, HAL layers, driver interfaces, and hardware control routines.
- Integrate lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, logic analyzers, power meters, DAQs, and Red Pitaya-class tools.
- Execute hardware validation profiles with strict evidence capture, logs, measurements, and failure traceability.
- Diagnose issues across firmware, PCB, grounding, EMI/noise, power rails, signal integrity, connectors, and test setup.
- Maintain clean documentation for assembly steps, test procedures, calibration, validation results, and corrective actions.
- Work closely with software, electronics, mechanical, and systems teams to convert architecture requirements into working hardware.
Required Skills
- Embedded C/C++, Python, Linux basics, serial/I2C/SPI/UART/CAN/Ethernet interfaces.
- Practical experience with PCB bring-up, soldering/rework, debugging, and electronics lab equipment.
- Understanding of power electronics, analog front ends, sensors, signal conditioning, grounding, shielding, and noise control.
- Ability to read schematics, datasheets, BOMs, layouts, and assembly notes.
- Strong discipline in test evidence, version control, logs, and reproducible validation.
Preferred Experience
- STM32 / ESP32 / RP2040 / ARM Cortex platforms.
- KiCad or Altium review ability.
- Automated test rigs, hardware-in-loop testing, DAQ systems, and scientific instrumentation.
- Experience in high-reliability, R&D, robotics, aerospace, defence electronics, or deep-tech hardware projects.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a practical builder who can move from schematic to assembled board, from firmware to measured signal, and from failure to root cause without guesswork. This role needs patience, precision, and a proof-first engineering mindset.
Pay: ₹480,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
