Own and lead initiative to define, design, and implement DevOps solutions which includes reference architectures, and estimates

Provide technical leadership, project guidance, and business development in various ecommerce technology areas

Advise technology delivery leadership on how to translate the client’s infrastructure and automation business requirements into executable technology solutions

Participate in customer’s workshops and provide presentations of the proposed solution;

Act as a Subject Matter Expert on DevOps best practices with Google Cloud, Auto Scaling Groups and Configuration Management;

Perform analysis on the best practices and emerging concepts in DevOps, Infrastructure Automation, Configuration Management, Orchestration

Act as a technical liaison between clients, service engineering teams and support

Define common business and development processes, platform and tools usage for ecommerce solutions and delivery

Review and audit of existing solution, design and system architecture

Continuous Integration and Release Management

Architect and build cloud environments to a service specification you help develop

Support the deployment of applications into those environments.

Design new environments and architectures.

Build tools and monitoring

Extensive experience with configuration automation tools (Puppet/Ansible/Chef/Salt)

Continuous Integration and Deployment (Jenkins), Containers (Docker)

10+ years of experience with administration background in past and should be having at least 6+ years of recent Experience in Devops Engineering.

Very Strong Chef and Ansible.

Should have worked in 1000+ server environment.

Strong Linux/Unix System Administration Background

DNS, TCP/IP, Routing, HA & Load Balancing
-
Strong Background on any public cloud (AWS or GCP or Azure)

Automation in a high-level language like Python or Ruby.

Configuration management using tools like Salt, Puppet, Chef, Ansible (Good hands-on on any one of these)

Large scale Jenkins deployment with 100s of slaves

Working with Git, various git workflows

Database Technologies: Oracle, Sql Server, MySQL, NoSQL i. e Mondo DB, Redis

Container/Orchestration Technology: Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift Nomad (Any one)

Continuous Delivery: Automated testing, deployment and release management, configuration management, version control, cloud, containerization, feature-driven delivery

Managed In-House Atlasssian products like Jira & Confluence
