Job Title – Sr. Business Analyst
Overview
The Sr. Business Analyst will review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs.
Will be responsible for documenting requirements, defining scope and objectives, and formulating solutions aligned with overall business strategies.
Will collaborate with a highly skilled team of technologists, sharing insights, innovations, and ideas to deliver business value.
Expected to partner with high-performing teams and stakeholders across the organization to drive strategic goals and ensure successful project delivery.
Roles and Responsibilities

Lead requirement analysis by studying business functions, gathering detailed inputs, and evaluating output requirements and formats.

Serve as a bridge between clients, development teams, QA, and senior management to ensure timely and effective project delivery.

Manage client interactions, requirement gathering, and requirement lifecycle management with minimal supervision.

Create and maintain business process models, workflow charts, wireframes, prototypes, and system capability assessments.

Define and track project requirements, deliverables, milestones, and dependencies; ensure alignment with business objectives.

Monitor project progress by tracking activities, identifying risks, resolving issues, and providing regular progress updates.

Perform comprehensive analyses of current processes using operational metrics, reports, and KPIs; recommend data-driven improvements.

Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on analytics and industry best practices; support implementation of approved changes.

Mentor and guide junior analysts in requirement elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management.
Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

4–7 years of proven experience in Business Analysis within IT, software, or consulting domains.

Strong expertise in gathering and converting business requirements into clear, actionable documentation (BRDs, FRDs, Use Cases, User Stories, Wireframes, Prototypes, etc.).

Hands-on experience with requirement management tools, workflow modeling, and project tracking systems.

Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and project management principles.

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and other productivity/visualization tools.

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to influence and align diverse groups.

Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Ability to work independently while mentoring and supporting junior analysts.
