Role Overview
We're looking for a Marketing Intern who is passionate about the education space and eager to learn the ropes of brand building, ground level marketing execution and campaign execution in a fast-paced startup environment. You'll work closely with the marketing team on real projects that directly impact millions of students.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute admission marketing campaigns (BTL activities, school/college outreach, local advertising) to generate student leads
- Organize and represent PW at seminars, workshops, school visits, and education fairs to promote programs
- Build relationships with schools, coaching institutes, and local influencers to drive referrals and partnerships
- Manage and convert inbound leads through calls, counseling sessions, and follow-ups
- Coordinate with the digital marketing team to align local campaigns with broader brand messaging
- Track daily/weekly enrollment numbers and lead conversion rates; report performance against admission targets
- Distribute promotional materials (banners, pamphlets, standees) and manage on-ground branding for the center
- Gather market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing, and student preferences in the local area
- Support parent/student counseling sessions to address queries and close admissions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Marketing/Business preferred)
- 0–3 years of experience in admission counseling, field marketing, or education sales (freshers with strong communication skills may apply)
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable with direct student/parent interaction
- Target-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding lead/enrollment goals (for experienced candidates)
- Willingness to travel locally for outreach activities
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets for tracking leads and reporting
- Fluency in the local/regional language along with Hindi/English
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns across digital platforms (social media, email, YouTube, etc.)
- Support content creation for social media, blogs, and promotional materials
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities
- Help track and analyze campaign performance using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, etc.)
- Coordinate with design, content, and product teams to ensure consistent brand messaging
- Assist with influencer and student-ambassador outreach programs
- Support the team in organizing marketing events, webinars, and student engagement activities
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing campaign insights and recommend
Good to Have
- Prior internship experience in marketing, content, or social media
- Experience managing a personal or college social media page/brand
- Basic knowledge of video editing or graphic design tools
