Salary: Up to ₹30 LPA (Final compensation will depend on experience and interview performance.)
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and enhance a secure, scalable, and highly available cloud platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevSecOps, and cloud architecture. You will play a key role in building platform capabilities that enable engineering teams to develop, deploy, and manage applications efficiently while ensuring security, reliability, and cost optimization.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform Engineering
- Design, build, and manage Amazon EKS (Kubernetes) infrastructure.
- Improve platform scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Lead Kubernetes cluster upgrades and modernization initiatives.
- Define platform architecture standards and engineering best practices.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment.
- Standardize cloud environments across development, testing, and production.
- Eliminate manual infrastructure processes through automation.
Cloud Architecture
Design and manage cloud infrastructure using:
- AWS Networking
- Amazon EKS
- Aurora MySQL
- Redis
- Apache Kafka
- AWS Lambda
- CloudFront
- Route 53
- IAM
- AWS Secrets Manager
DevSecOps
- Design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement security guardrails and Policy-as-Code.
- Manage secrets, encryption, and access control.
- Improve software supply chain security.
Compliance & Security
- Design technical controls supporting SOC 2 compliance.
- Automate compliance evidence collection.
- Improve logging, monitoring, and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams.
Platform Reliability
- Define and monitor SLOs and SLIs.
- Improve observability and system monitoring.
- Reduce operational overhead through automation.
- Drive platform reliability and resilience initiatives.
Cost Optimization
- Optimize AWS infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency.
- Improve Kubernetes resource utilization.
- Drive FinOps initiatives and cloud cost optimization strategies.
