We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Executive with expertise in Payroll, PF, ESIC, and other statutory compliances as per Indian labor laws. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end HR compliance, payroll processing, employee documentation, and government filings.
Key Responsibilities:1. Statutory Compliance Management:
- Ensure compliance with PF (Provident Fund), ESIC (Employee State Insurance), PT (Professional Tax), LWF (Labour Welfare Fund), and Bonus Act.
- Filing of monthly/quarterly/annual statutory returns for PF, ESIC, and PT.
- Coordinate with government authorities for registration, audits, and inspections.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in labor laws, Shops & Establishment Act, and other statutory regulations.
2. Payroll & Compensation Management:
- Assist in monthly payroll processing by ensuring accuracy in salary calculations, deductions (PF, ESIC, TDS, etc.), and reimbursements.
- Verify and update employee attendance, leaves, and overtime before payroll processing.
- Handle Full & Final Settlements (FnF) and process exit formalities.
- Generate and distribute payslips, Form 16, and other salary-related documents.
3. Employee Records & Documentation:
- Maintain employee records, contracts, appointment letters, and KYC documents.
- Handle onboarding & offboarding processes, exit interviews, and documentation.
- Ensure timely submission of gratuity claims, leave encashments, and statutory benefits.
4. Grievance Handling & Employee Engagement:
- Address employee grievances related to payroll, PF withdrawals, ESIC benefits, etc.
- Coordinate with insurance companies for health & medical benefits claims.
- Assist in conducting HR policies awareness sessions for employees.
5. Vendor & Audit Management:
- Liaise with EPFO, ESIC, Labor Offices, and consultants for compliance submissions.
- Prepare reports and ensure compliance with statutory audits & labor law inspections.
- Work closely with auditors & finance teams for periodic statutory audits.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-4 years of experience in HR, payroll, and statutory compliance management.
- Knowledge of EPF, ESIC, PT, Gratuity, Bonus Act, and Income Tax (TDS on salaries).
- Experience in payroll software like Excel, Tally, HRMS, or SAP.
- Strong understanding of labor laws, Shops & Establishments Act, and compliance regulations.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Payroll Processing or Compliance Management.
- Hands-on experience with government portals like EPFO, ESIC, and Shram Suvidha.
- Experience in handling audit queries and labor law inspections.
