Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Hardware & Networking Field Engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware, networking devices, and IT infrastructure at client locations. The candidate should have basic knowledge of computer systems, networking, and field support activities.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues at client sites.
Configure and support LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi devices.
Perform preventive maintenance of IT equipment.
Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues.
Install and manage operating systems and basic software applications.
Provide technical support and assistance to end users.
Maintain service reports and documentation of field visits.
Coordinate with the technical support team for issue escalation and resolution.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of computer hardware and networking.
Understanding of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, routers, switches, and wireless networks.
Familiarity with Windows operating systems and troubleshooting.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to travel to client locations for field support.
Strong customer service orientation.
Qualifications
Diploma/ITI/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Hardware, Networking, IT, or a related field.
Minimum 3+ months of relevant experience in hardware and networking support.
