We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Child Psychologist to join us as a Freelance Consultant and contribute professional expertise in supporting children and families.
Role Overview
The Child Psychologist Consultant will support the LittleSpark team by providing expert guidance on child behavior, emotional development, learning challenges, parenting concerns, and early developmental support. The role involves reviewing educational content, contributing psychological insights, and helping create parent-friendly developmental resources.
Responsibilities
- Review and validate child psychology and behavioral-development content
- Provide expert insights on emotional regulation, behavior, communication, and learning patterns
- Support development of evidence-based parenting resources
- Guide the team on age-appropriate developmental and behavioral expectations
- Collaborate with content, product, and research teams
- Participate in awareness sessions, webinars, or expert discussions when required
- Ensure child-safe, ethical, and scientifically accurate recommendations across the platform
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Psychology / Child Psychology / Clinical Psychology
- 1–2 years of experience working with children and parents
- Strong understanding of child behavior, emotional development, developmental challenges, and parenting concerns
- Good communication and consultation skills
- Passion for child development and family support
- Comfortable working remotely in a collaborative digital environment
- Experience in developmental assessment or behavioral intervention is a plus
