- In-Process Inspection: Conduct routine, on-the-line checks to ensure manufacturing processes follow standard operating procedures.
- Defect Identification: Catch deviations or defects early and halt the production line if major quality or safety issues arise.
- Testing & Measurement: Use calibrated measurement tools and testing devices (e.g., gauges, calipers) to verify product specifications.
- Documentation: Record inspection results, maintain daily reports, and log any non-conforming parts.
- Compliance: Ensure that all manufactured goods adhere to company policies and industry regulations
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot minute flaws or inconsistencies in products.
- Communication: Ability to clearly report defects to supervisors and work with the production team to implement corrective actions.
- Technical Proficiency: Understanding of technical drawings, blueprints, and operating measurement equipment.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose the root cause of production line errors
