About AgroNest Ventures:
AgroNest Ventures Private Limited is a deep-tech powerhouse pioneering scalable, tech-driven solutions for real-world resilience. Operating the largest drone-spraying network in India and deploying advanced AI and IoT frameworks, we have already positively transformed the lives of over 300,000+ farmers. We believe that true technological transformation happens from within the community. Through our AgroSakhi and AgroMitra networks, we are building a grass-roots ecosystem of tech-enabled rural micro-entrepreneurs to make precision agriculture affordable, accessible, and inclusive at a planetary scale.
Role Overview:
As an AgroSakhi & AgroMitra Rural Transformation Associate, you will be the ultimate champion of grass-roots empowerment. You will lead the onboarding, training, and operational management of our village-level networks, mobilizing rural women (AgroSakhis) and rural youth (AgroMitras) into a thriving workforce. Your goal is to turn these community leaders into micro-entrepreneurs who advocate for AgroNest’s drone-spraying and digital services, ensuring that the fruits of deep tech reach every single smallholder farm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Identification & Mobilization: Identify, interview, and onboard progressive rural women (via Self-Help Groups/SHGs) as AgroSakhis and enthusiastic local youth as AgroMitras.
- Capacity Building & Training: Conduct hands-on training programs to educate your network on drone-spraying benefits, AI-driven crop advice, digital apps, and basic micro-entrepreneurship skills.
- Demand Generation & Aggregation: Guide your AgroSakhis and AgroMitras to aggregate local village-level demand, pooling small farm plots into efficient clusters for drone operations.
- Socio-Economic Empowerment: Act as a mentor to help rural women and youth achieve financial independence by driving service bookings and earning steady commission pipelines.
- On-Ground Operations Coordination: Link the village bookings generated by your network directly to AgroNest's drone pilots and IoT installation teams for flawless field execution.
- Impact Tracking & Reporting: Collect real-life success stories, document local economic growth parameters, and track the performance metrics of your assigned clusters.
Qualifications & Attributes:
- Education: Graduate/Diploma in Rural Development, Social Work (MSW/BSW), Agriculture, or an equivalent field. Deep passion for rural empowerment is highly prioritized.
- Experience: 1-3 years of hands-on experience working with rural communities, NGOs, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), microfinance institutions, or rural government schemes (SRLM/NRLM).
- Cultural Sensitivity & Empathy: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build effortless trust among rural households, village elders, and women’s collectives.
- Hyper-Local Language Skills: Absolute fluency in the native dialect and regional language of the assigned operating cluster is mandatory.
- Field Mobility: Ownership of a two-wheeler with a valid driving license for continuous daily travel across deep rural pockets.
- Basic Digital Savvy: Competence in utilizing smartphone apps, instant messaging groups, and basic digital data entries for tracking performance.
What We Offer:
- Competitive fixed monthly salary supplemented by rewarding cluster-level growth incentives.
- Full daily field travel and mobile communication allowances.
- Comprehensive medical and on-field safety insurance coverage.
- A deeply fulfilling career track where your day-to-day work directly elevates rural incomes, fosters women's financial inclusion, and deploys elite deep tech at the absolute grassroots level.
