Cicada Solutions is looking for creative Website & Brand Experience Design Interns who can help design how websites should look and feel for different brands and businesses.
This role is focused on visual thinking, design taste, branding, layout, and creative direction. You do not need to know frontend coding. We are looking for interns who can understand a brand and imagine how its website can look premium, modern, clean, and professional.
The ideal candidate should be able to create website concepts, landing page layouts, hero sections, brand visuals, UI mockups, and creative design directions. Knowledge of 3D visuals, motion design, animations, or interactive website ideas is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design website concepts for brands, businesses, and software products.
- Create homepage layouts, landing pages, service pages, hero sections, and portfolio sections.
- Understand a brand’s identity and suggest how its website should visually represent it.
- Work on colour palettes, typography, spacing, layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Create wireframes, moodboards, UI mockups, and design references.
- Suggest creative ideas using 3D elements, motion graphics, animations, or micro-interactions.
- Research modern website design trends and apply them in a clean and practical way.
- Work with the development team by handing over design ideas, references, and Figma files.
- Help improve Cicada Solutions’ own website and client presentation designs.
Requirements
- Good sense of design, layout, spacing, colours, and branding.
- Ability to think creatively about how a website should look for a brand.
- Basic knowledge of tools like Figma, Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, Framer, Spline, Blender, After Effects, or similar tools.
- Understanding of modern website design trends.
- Ability to create clean, premium, and brand-focused design concepts.
- No frontend coding knowledge required.
- Portfolio, Behance, Dribbble, Instagram design page, or sample work is preferred.
Good to Have
- Interest in UI/UX design, branding, SaaS websites, startup websites, and luxury website design.
- Experience with 3D visuals, motion graphics, website animations, or interactive design.
- Ability to create original design ideas instead of copying generic templates.
- Understanding of how design can make a business look more trustworthy and professional.
Compensation Note
This is a performance-based internship. Pay will depend on the intern’s contribution, quality of work, consistency, creativity, and involvement in client or internal projects.
There is no fixed monthly salary unless agreed separately before onboarding. High-performing interns may be considered for paid project work or a long-term role.
