About the Role
Pure Aura Healthcare operates a growing network of dental clinics across East Bangalore. We're looking for an HR Executive who understands healthcare from the inside. Most of our workforce is clinical — dentists, MDS specialists, dental assistants — and managing their hiring, licensing, onboarding, and day-to-day people issues requires someone who already speaks the language of medicine. This is a hands-on, process-driven role for someone with a medical or clinical background who has moved into people operations and wants to own end-to-end HR for a fast-scaling healthcare business.
Key Responsibilities
- Attendance & Leave — Track attendance for all staff across all clinics; manage leave applications, balances, and encashment; submit the monthly attendance summary to Finance by the 24th for payroll.
- Onboarding — Complete onboarding for every new hire within 3 working days: employment agreement, ID and credential verification (DCI/KPME registration where applicable), PF/ESI registration, system access, and induction.
- Offboarding — Complete exits within 5 working days: final settlement, PF claim initiation, NOC issue, asset recovery.
- Payroll Inputs — Compile attendance, leave deductions, incentive calculations, and advance adjustments by the 25th and submit to Finance.
- Statutory Compliance — Manage PF, ESI, professional tax, labour-law compliance, and clinical staff licensing (KPME, DCI registration tracking).
- Recruitment Support — Run the clinical and non-clinical hiring pipeline; source candidates, coordinate interviews and trial days, and issue offer letters on approval.
- Grievance Handling — First-level grievance contact: hear, document, and route appropriately while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Staff Records — Maintain complete, audit-ready employee files for every staff member.
- Policy Communication — Roll out HR policy updates across clinics and ensure managers understand current policy before enforcing it.
Requirements
- A medical / healthcare background is mandatory. Candidates must have a clinical or healthcare qualification (e.g., BDS, MBBS, BPT, B.Sc Nursing) or substantial prior experience working inside a hospital, clinic, or healthcare organisation.
- Ideal profile: a doctor (BDS) who has completed an MBA or PGDM in Human Resources and wants to build a career in healthcare people operations.
- 2+ years of HR or people-operations experience, preferably in a healthcare/multi-clinic setup.
- Working knowledge of PF, ESI, professional tax, and statutory compliance (or the ability to learn quickly).
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the discretion to handle confidential staff matters.
- Comfortable with HR/payroll software and spreadsheets.
- Fluent in English and Kannada; spoken Hindi an advantage.
