Job/Position : Trade Marketing Manager (Part Leader)
Location : New Delhi
Key Responsibilities :
1) Channel Strategy & Planning of Noodle, Sauce, Snack Categories :
- Develop and maintain channel-marketing plans for MT and GT.
- Translate brand strategy and campaigns into tailored channel execution plans.
- Segment channels/customers and prioritize initiatives to drive growth.
- Align plans with sales teams and distributors for joint business planning.
2) Shoppers Insight & Category Selling Story & Management:
- Leverage shopper behaviour, purchase patterns, and mission-based insights to guide category strategies.
- Define short-and long-term category growth strategies in alignment with brand, commercial, and customer goals.
- Serve as category advisor to key retail partners by providing insights and recommendations that grow both the retailer’s and company’s category sales.
3) Shopper Marketing Activation & In-Store Execution Excellence:
- Design and deliver shopper marketing programs that drive trial, conversion and increase basket size.
- Localize in-store communication based on regional toolkits (POSM, planograms, and promotional mechanics) to support in-store execution.
- Localize shopper programs based on outlet type, shopper missions, and cultural relevance.
- Drive best-in-class execution of in-store presence across all channels and priority markets.
4) Promotion & Activation Planning:
- Plan and evaluate shopper promotions by channel, season, or campaign.
- Test and recommend winning promo mechanics and bundling strategies.
- Monitor ROI of trade promotions and provide improvement recommendations.
5) Market Analysis & Competitive Review:
- Study market data in-depth & constantly monitor competitive moves in the market.
- Develop short-term tactical actions with distributors to defend market shares while work closely with brand team to develop long-term strategic plan to drive brand penetrations & win in the market.
Job Requirements :
- Proficient in English communication.
- Min 6+ years of experience in shopper marketing, channel/trade marketing, or customer marketing roles within FMCG or consumer goods.
- Experience working in FMCG multinational company.
- Strong understanding of shopper behavior, retail dynamics, and trade marketing.
- Analytical with the ability to interpret market and sales data.
- Excellent planning, execution, and project management skills.
- Collaborative and able to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders in a start-up environment.
