We are looking for a skilled Software Developer to develop, maintain, and enhance our in-house web-based Transportation Management System (TMS). The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Node.js for backend development, database design, and modern web application architecture. You will work closely with our operations team to build scalable features that improve logistics, dispatch, tracking, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain our web-based TMS using Node.js.
- Design, build, and optimize RESTful APIs.
- Develop new modules for dispatch, load management, driver management, billing, and customer portals.
- Design and manage relational databases, ensuring performance and data integrity.
- Integrate third-party APIs such as GPS tracking, EDI, mapping, and customer systems.
- Troubleshoot software issues, identify bugs, and implement fixes.
- Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with management to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Maintain proper documentation and version control using Git.
