About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Design Engineer to join our Design Team in Pune. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with PTC Creo Parametric and AutoCAD, along with a strong understanding of mechanical design, fabrication drawings, and manufacturing processes.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on industrial material handling equipment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop 3D models, assemblies, and components using PTC Creo.
- Prepare detailed fabrication, machining, assembly, and General Arrangement (GA) drawings using Creo and AutoCAD.
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing documentation.
- Design and support equipment such as:
- Belt Conveyors
- Screw Conveyors
- Bag Filling Systems
- Bag Unloading Stations
- Hoppers
- Pneumatic Conveying Systems
- Other Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, and Quality teams to resolve design-related issues.
- Implement engineering changes and maintain drawing revision history.
- Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and are accurate, manufacturable, and released on schedule.
Required Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in mechanical design.
- Hands-on experience with PTC Creo Parametric.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Understanding of fabrication drawings, sheet metal, welded structures, and machining.
- Basic knowledge of GD&T, engineering tolerances, and standard mechanical components.
- Experience in preparing Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
