Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sales Manager to handle and manage all sales department activities. The candidate will be responsible for business development, client handling, team coordination, sales target achievement, and overall sales operations in the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle complete sales department operations and daily sales activities.
- Develop new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets assigned by management.
- Prepare sales plans, market strategies, and business growth plans.
- Coordinate with production, dispatch, and accounts departments for smooth order execution.
- Visit customers, industries, and project sites for business development.
- Follow up on inquiries, quotations, orders, and payments.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Maintain proper sales reports, MIS, and customer database.
- Lead and guide the sales team for better performance and target achievement.
- Handle client complaints and provide timely resolutions.
- Ensure strong customer satisfaction and long-term business relationships.
Required Skills
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership and team handling ability.
- Knowledge of sales planning and business development.
- Ability to work under targets and pressure.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and reporting.
Qualification
- Graduate / MBA in Marketing or related field preferred.
Experience
- 3–7 years of experience in sales and business development.
- Experience in industrial products / refractory / manufacturing industry preferred.
