Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior IT Support Executive to join our IT team. The candidate will be responsible for providing basic technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting users with day-to-day IT-related activities. This role is ideal for freshers or junior candidates looking to build a career in IT infrastructure and support.
Key Responsibilities

Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and basic software applications.
- Provide basic Linux system support, including user management, software installation, basic troubleshooting, and system health checks.
- Support users with email, VPN, internet, and system access issues.
- Monitor and maintain IT assets, inventory, and documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and service requests.
- Assist in setting up systems, workstations, meeting rooms, and IT equipment.
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities for employees.
- Ensure timely closure of support tickets and maintain service records.
- Basic understanding of network devices like routers, switches, and Wi-Fi access points.
- Follow IT policies, security standards, and asset management procedures.
Required Skills

Basic knowledge of computer hardware and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with Windows OS, MS Office, Outlook, and antivirus tools.
- Basic understanding of Linux operating systems, Ubuntu.

Knowledge of basic Linux commands, file permissions, package installation, and user management.

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Educational Qualification

Diploma / bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
Certifications like CCNA, Hardware & Networking, or Microsoft Fundamentals are an added advantage.

Basic understanding of Active Directory, Office 365, and remote support tools.
