Job Summary
The Manager – Finance (Treasury) will be responsible for managing project financing activities, raising debt and equity, maintaining banking relationships, and ensuring adequate liquidity for company projects. The role requires expertise in financial modelling, lender coordination, fundraising, and treasury risk management.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Financing
- Lead end-to-end project financing for utility-scale and rooftop solar projects.
- Structure debt financing with banks, financial institutions, NBFCs, and investors.
- Prepare financial models, project viability reports, and debt servicing projections.
- Coordinate due diligence with lenders, legal advisors, technical consultants, and auditors.
- Ensure timely financial closure of projects.
Equity Raising
- Support equity fundraising through promoters, strategic investors, private equity, venture capital, and institutional investors.
- Prepare investment presentations, financial projections, and investor data rooms.
- Coordinate investor meetings and due diligence activities.
- Assist senior management in equity investment negotiations.
Banking & Treasury Management
- Build and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and rating agencies.
- Negotiate working capital limits, term loans, bank guarantees, letters of credit, and other banking facilities.
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity planning, and fund utilization.
- Ensure timely debt servicing and compliance with loan covenants.
- Optimize borrowing costs and treasury operations.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and funding plans.
- Monitor project-wise fund requirements and utilization.
- Evaluate borrowing options and recommend cost-effective financing structures.
- Support budgeting and long-term financial planning.
Renewable Energy Incentives
- Manage treasury operations related to subsidies, tax credits, and carbon trading schemes.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with financing agreements and banking regulations.
- Maintain financing documentation, security creation, and statutory filings.
- Coordinate timely reporting with internal and external stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with project teams, legal, accounts, lenders, investors, consultants, and auditors.
- Present financing updates and treasury reports to senior management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–5 years of experience in Treasury/Finance.
- Strong expertise in project finance and financial modelling.
- Experience in debt syndication and financial closure.
- Hands-on experience in equity fundraising.
- Good knowledge of banking products and treasury operations.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
