Job Description – Restaurant Captain
Role Purpose:
To ensure smooth restaurant operations by supervising the service team, delivering excellent guest service, and maintaining high standards of hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist guests with a polite and professional attitude.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and ensure timely service.
- Supervise and guide waiters to maintain efficient service.
- Handle guest queries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously.
- Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure accurate and timely order delivery.
- Ensure tables, dining area, and service stations are clean and well-maintained.
- Monitor food presentation and service quality before serving.
- Train and motivate service staff on customer service standards.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and restaurant service standards.
- Support billing and payment coordination when required.
- Maintain a pleasant dining experience and encourage repeat customer visits.
- Report daily operational issues and customer feedback to the Restaurant Manager.
Preferred Candidate:
- Experience as a Restaurant Captain or Senior Waiter.
- Good communication and team leadership skills.
- Strong customer handling and problem-solving ability.
- Polite, well-groomed, and customer-oriented personality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹19,000.00 per month
