Job Summary:
As an Academic Counselor, you will be the main point of contact for aspiring students, professionals, and parents. You will guide them through our comprehensive course offerings, understand their career aspirations, handle educational inquiries, and convert prospective leads into successful admissions.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Counseling: Conduct face-to-face, telephonic, and online counseling sessions to guide prospects toward the right technical course/program.
Lead Conversion: Actively manage and follow up on daily inbound leads, effectively driving them through the admission funnel.
Relationship Building: Address queries confidently, build strong rapport with both students and parents, and clearly communicate course highlights, fees, and career placement support.
Admission Goals: Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly admission enrollment targets.
Database Upkeep: Securely track, update, and manage candidate details and progress using our internal records/CRM tools.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Experience: 2 to 3 years of proven experience in student counseling, educational sales, admissions, or front-of-house institutional positions.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication in Malayalam and English is mandatory.
Interpersonal Skills: Empathetic listener, strong persuasion ability, confidence, and a professional phone/in-person etiquette.
Target-Driven: Highly motivated by conversions and achieving results.
Joining Status: Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.
