Job Description
Medall Diagnostics is looking for qualified and motivated candidates to join our team at Jayanagar, Bengaluru for the following positions:
- Lab Technician
- Senior Lab Technician
- Phlebotomist
- Front Office Executive
Key Responsibilities – Lab Technician
- Perform sample collection including blood, urine, swabs, and other clinical samples.
- Conduct routine diagnostic tests in areas such as Biochemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment as per standard procedures.
- Follow NABL/ISO protocols and maintain accurate laboratory documentation.
- Ensure proper sample handling, processing, and storage.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the laboratory.
- Support senior technical staff in day-to-day laboratory operations.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tests and maintain required TAT.
Key Responsibilities – Senior Lab Technician
- Supervise day-to-day laboratory operations.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and TAT requirements.
- Guide, supervise, and train laboratory technicians.
- Monitor quality control and compliance with laboratory procedures.
- Maintain equipment, calibration, and maintenance schedules.
- Monitor laboratory inventory and ensure availability of required materials.
- Coordinate with doctors, administrative teams, and logistics teams.
- Support audits and maintain required quality documentation.
Candidate RequirementsEducation
- DMLT / BMLT / MLT
- B.Sc / M.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology, Life Sciences, or related discipline
Experience
- Freshers to 8+ years of experience, depending on the position.
- Prior experience in a diagnostic laboratory or hospital is preferred.
- Senior Lab Technician candidates should have relevant laboratory experience.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of laboratory procedures and sample handling.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory instruments.
- Understanding of laboratory hygiene and safety protocols.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Leadership and team-management skills for senior positions.
