Trainee – Production

Job Summary:
The trainee will be involved in wiring harness manufacturing activities such as cutting, crimping, assembly, taping, and inspection. The role focuses on learning production processes while ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities - Production:
Assist in wiring harness manufacturing processes:
Wire cutting & stripping
Crimping of terminals
Harness assembly and routing
Taping and bundling
Follow work instructions, control plans, and SOPs
Ensure correct use of tools like crimping machines, testers, and fixtures
Maintain production targets as per line requirements
Follow 5S practices and workplace discipline
Handle materials carefully to avoid damage
Skills & Requirements:
Basic knowledge of wiring harness or electrical components (preferred)
Ability to identify colors and small components accurately
Good hand-eye coordination
Willingness to learn production and quality processes
Basic understanding of safety and quality standards
Educational Qualification:
ITI (Electrician / Fitter) or Diploma (Electrical / Mechanical)
Experience:
Freshers or 0–1 year experience in manufacturing
Additional Requirements:
Willing to work in shifts
Physically fit for shop floor activities
Ability to follow instructions strictly
