- Managing procurement: Overseeing the procurement process, from sourcing to delivery
- Negotiating contracts: Reviewing bid documents, selecting bidders, and negotiating prices and quotations
- Evaluating suppliers: Assessing suppliers for quality and pricing Maintaining inventory: Managing the inventory of supplies
- Collaborating with project managers: Understanding material requirements and ensuring timely delivery
- Monitoring supplier performance: Addressing issues as needed
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company standards. Implement inventory optimization strategies to reduce excess stock and associated costs. Prepare reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and cost savings.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and logistics, to ensure seamless operations and project execution.
