Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
- Build and integrate blockchain-based solutions, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps).
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Integrate Web3 wallets and blockchain networks such as Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Chain, or other EVM-compatible chains.
- Write, test, deploy, and audit smart contracts using Solidity.
- Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain development best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
- Stay updated with emerging blockchain technologies, protocols, and industry trends.
Required Skills
- 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Node.js development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar backend frameworks.
- Solid understanding of blockchain concepts, smart contracts, tokens (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155), and decentralized applications.
- Hands-on experience with Solidity and smart contract development.
- Experience using Web3.js, Ethers.js, or similar blockchain libraries.
- Familiarity with Ethereum, Polygon, Binance Smart Chain, or other blockchain ecosystems.
- Strong knowledge of databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
- Understanding of security best practices in blockchain and backend development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Layer-2 solutions and DeFi protocols.
- Knowledge of blockchain security audits and testing frameworks.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture and message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
- Contributions to blockchain or open-source projects.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant blockchain certifications are a plus.
