Job Summary
An Installation Hardware Engineer or Technician is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware systems at client sites or industrial locations. This role is hands-on and field-oriented, focusing on equipment setup, basic troubleshooting, and ensuring systems operate correctly after installation.
Key Responsibilities
Install and set up hardware equipment such as control panels, machines, sensors, networking devices, or security systems
Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals
Perform wiring, cabling, and mechanical assembly of components
Test installed systems to ensure proper functionality
Troubleshoot basic hardware and electrical/mechanical issues on-site
Coordinate with senior engineers for complex technical problems
Ensure installations meet safety standards and company guidelines
Provide basic user training to clients after installation
Maintain installation reports and service records
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma or ITI certification in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical trades
Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, and tools
Ability to read schematics and technical documents
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
Basic troubleshooting skills in hardware systems
Willingness to travel and work on-site
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in field installation or maintenance work
Knowledge of PLC panels, automation systems, or industrial equipment
Basic understanding of networking or embedded systems
Valid driver’s license (often required for field roles)
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Hyderabad, Telangana (Hyderabad, Hyderabad District): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Computer vision: 5 years (Required)
