Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Hands-on experience with CNC machines, TURN MILL MACHINES, SPLINE ROLLING, BROACHING,
cutting tools, Specific Functional Capabilities, Knowledge and Skills Required
Desirable
Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial
Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred), 5S, TPM, or ISO 9001 Internal Auditor
Key Responsibilities: -
1. Production Management
Ensure production is carried out according to the defined cycle time.
Optimize the utilization of manpower and machinery to achieve maximum productivity.
Monitor operator activities, including hourly production reports, check sheets, and other
production records.
Minimize production rejection and achieve the specified quality targets.
2. Quality Control Support
Establish and maintain technical quality standards.
Support quality inspections and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Coordinate with the quality team to ensure compliance with customer and organizational
requirements.
3. Cost Control
Reduce production waste, rework, and machine downtime.
Identify and implement process improvements to reduce manufacturing costs.
Promote efficient use of materials, manpower, and equipment.
4. Production Monitoring & Control
Monitor actual production against the production plan and daily targets.
Analyze production variances and take timely corrective actions.
Ensure smooth production flow while maintaining safety and quality standards.
