Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Architect with 5 to 10 years of proven expertise within our firm. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong track record of successful project management, design proficiency, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
Lead architectural design projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project objectives, budget, and timelines.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, vision, and project requirements, translating these into innovative and functional designs.
- Produce high-quality architectural drawings, including conceptual sketches, detailed plans, elevations, and 3D models, using software like AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, mentoring junior architects and collaborating effectively with engineers, contractors, and consultants.
- Oversee the development and presentation of design proposals, engaging with stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate necessary revisions.
- Conduct site visits, surveys, and assessments to ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and regulations.
- Manage and coordinate project documentation, including construction drawings, specifications, and contract administration as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to integrate innovative solutions into designs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- 5 to 10 years of progressive experience as an Architect with similar architectural firms.
- Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Strong design portfolio showcasing a range of projects and design abilities.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Thorough understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly.
- Leadership qualities and the ability to foster a collaborative and creative work environment.
