About the Role
Narayana e-Techno School is looking for an experienced, passionate, and dynamic Vice Principal – Primary to lead and manage the Pre-Primary section. The ideal candidate will have strong academic leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of early childhood education.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality teaching and learning, supporting teachers, maintaining academic standards, and creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for young learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the overall academic functioning of the Pre-Primary section.
- Monitor lesson planning, classroom delivery, assessments, and learning outcomes.
- Mentor, guide, and develop Pre-Primary teachers and coordinators.
- Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure implementation of the school's curriculum, academic plans, and teaching methodologies.
- Maintain high standards of discipline, safety, hygiene, and student well-being.
- Plan and monitor academic and co-curricular activities for young learners.
- Work closely with teachers to identify learning gaps and implement appropriate interventions.
- Build strong and professional relationships with parents.
- Address parent concerns effectively and ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate with the Principal and school leadership on academic and administrative matters.
- Conduct staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.
- Maintain academic records, reports, and other documentation.
- Promote innovative, activity-based, and child-centric teaching practices.
- Support the school's vision, values, policies, and overall growth.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Education or a relevant discipline.
- B.Ed./equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong experience in Pre-Primary/Early Years education.
- Prior experience in a leadership, coordinator, academic head, or vice-principal role will be preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong classroom observation and teacher mentoring abilities.
- Good knowledge of early childhood teaching-learning practices.
- Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively with school management.
- A positive, energetic, and child-focused approach.
