We're looking for a creative Game Sound Designer to bring our games to life through immersive sound effects and music. You will be responsible for creating high-quality sound effects, background music, and audio assets that enhance gameplay and create an engaging experience for children and families.
The ideal candidate understands how audio influences player experience and can produce original, royalty-free audio that is optimized for games.
Key Responsibilities:
Sound Design
- Create high-quality sound effects (SFX) for gameplay, user interactions, and animations.
- Design audio for characters, environments, menus, rewards, and game events.
- Produce sounds that are fun, engaging, and suitable for children and families.
- Ensure all audio enhances gameplay without becoming repetitive or distracting.
Music Composition
- Produce seamless looping tracks suitable for continuous gameplay.
- Adapt music for menus, gameplay, celebrations, and special events.
Audio Editing & Mixing
- Record, edit, clean, and mix audio where required.
- Balance sound effects, music, and voice assets for a consistent listening experience.
- Optimize audio levels across different devices and speakers.
Collaboration
- Work closely with game designers, artists, and developers to define the audio style of each game.
- Participate in creative discussions and contribute ideas that enhance the overall player experience.
- Iterate on audio assets based on testing and feedback.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of sound design principles for games.
- Ability to create original sound effects from scratch.
- Experience composing royalty-free music across multiple genres.
- Knowledge of audio mixing, mastering, and editing techniques.
- Understanding of how sound supports gameplay and user feedback.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications
- 1–5 years of experience in game audio, music production, or sound design.
- A portfolio demonstrating original sound effects and music compositions.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
