Job Title: Senior Accountant
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
- Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Verify invoices, bills, vouchers, and supporting documents.
- Coordinate payroll and salary-related accounting activities.
- Maintain petty cash and ensure proper cash handling procedures.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, taxation, and other statutory requirements.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external agencies.
- Monitor expenses and support cost control measures.
- Maintain proper accounting documentation and records.
- Support management with financial analysis and decision-making reports.
- Supervise and guide junior accounts staff and ensure smooth functioning of the accounts department.
Required Skills
- Minimum 6 years of relevant accounting experience.
Qualification
B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / equivalent qualification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Tally Prime.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Good knowledge of reconciliation and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Experience in F&B/Hospitality or multi-branch operations will be an advantage.
Malayalam-speaking candidates preferred.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
