Position Summary
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspectors to join our Quality Department at the Chakan plant. The selected candidates will be responsible for inspecting products and processes, identifying defects, maintaining quality records, and ensuring compliance with customer and company quality standards.
Qualification
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)
- Freshers and experienced candidates (0–3 years) can apply
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing and quality inspection processes
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of components and finished products.
- Perform dimensional inspections using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and Dial Gauge.
- Verify product quality as per drawings, specifications, and control plans.
- Identify and report quality defects, deviations, and non-conformities.
- Maintain inspection reports, quality records, and documentation.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
- Ensure adherence to customer requirements and internal quality standards.
- Coordinate with production teams to resolve quality-related concerns.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, 5S, and Kaizen activities.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies on the shop floor.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of basic quality inspection methods and measuring instruments.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand tolerances.
- Understanding of basic quality tools and manufacturing processes.
- Good observation and attention to detail.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel and MS Word).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
