Duties:
- Examine financial statements for accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
- Compute taxes owed, prepare tax returns, and ensure proper and timely tax payments.
- Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency, adherence to accepted accounting procedures, and identification of potential fraud risks.
- Organize, analyze, and maintain financial records.
- Assess financial operations, identify risks and challenges, and recommend best practices to management.
- Suggest ways to reduce costs, enhance revenues, and improve profits.
- Explain findings through written reports and meetings with managers and clients.
- Manage accounting activities to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, corporate policies, and external audits.
- Oversee accounts payable, payroll, monthly closing of accounts, and preparation of financial reports.
- Participate in developing and establishing accounting policies, procedures, and operational strategies, including reviewing and implementing process and system changes.
- Ensure compliance with internal control policies.
- Collaborate with external auditors for successful audit results and compliance.
- Interact with stakeholders at all levels to produce timely, efficient, and accurate month-end close and financial reporting.
- Maintain accuracy in the general ledger and financial statements.
- Make recommendations for changes and ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
- Prepare detailed journal entries and account analyses.
- Assist with compiling information for tax return preparation.
- Work with audit, tax, and treasury managers to coordinate financial accounting activities.
- Develop and communicate cash flow projections.
- Supervise accounting teams.
- Manage Direct Tax related tasks such as rectification of TDS defaults, preparing income tax computations, and filing tax audit and transfer pricing audit reports.
- Provide data to consultants for assessments, appeals, and hearings related to income tax.
- Resolve queries on TDS applicability for domestic and foreign transactions.
- Prepare tax packs as required by global standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualification of Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Strong understanding of tax planning strategies and experience in managing indirect taxes, including Goods and Services Tax (GST).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and critical-thinking skills to evaluate data, identify issues, and suggest solutions.
- Communication skills to discuss facts and concerns with clients, managers, and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented when compiling and examining documents.
- Math skills to analyze, compare, and interpret facts and figures.
- Organizational skills to work with a range of financial documents for various clients.
- Accounting-specific skills such as tax reporting, public accounting, accounting software proficiency, and financial forecasting.
- Leadership soft skills including empathy, coaching, collaboration, adaptability, empowerment, communication, and innovation.
- Technical skills like computer proficiency, Microsoft Excel, and data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of Indian taxation, GST, corporate tax, and compliance requirements.

Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
