Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong architectural expertise to take on a hybrid role as a Scrum Room Architect (SRA). This position combines hands-on full stack development with solution architecture responsibilities, ensuring the successful delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing applications within an Agile Scrum environment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in full stack application development, software architecture, cloud technologies, and Agile methodologies. You will collaborate closely with Scrum teams, Product Owners, Architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions while providing technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key ResponsibilitiesFull Stack Development
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full stack applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.
- Develop high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Build secure RESTful APIs and integrate with enterprise applications and third-party services.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance and reliability.
- Participate in application deployment, monitoring, and production support.
Scrum Room Architecture
- Define, design, and maintain the overall solution architecture for applications developed within Agile Scrum teams.
- Ensure architecture aligns with business objectives, technical standards, and long-term scalability.
- Create architectural blueprints, design documentation, and technical guidelines.
- Identify technical dependencies, constraints, and risks during sprint planning.
- Ensure consistency across multiple development teams and applications.
Agile Collaboration
- Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to define and refine user stories with architectural considerations.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure sprint goals are technically feasible and aligned with the overall architecture.
- Facilitate communication between technical and business stakeholders.
- Resolve technical challenges and architectural conflicts across teams.
Technical Leadership
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
- Guide technology selection, architectural decisions, and implementation strategies.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
- Promote design patterns, clean architecture principles, and secure development practices.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the technology stack.
Cloud & Microservices
- Design and implement cloud-native applications using AWS or Azure.
- Develop scalable microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Integrate messaging, APIs, and cloud services to support enterprise applications.
- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability of distributed systems.
Quality, Security & DevOps
- Ensure solutions meet performance, security, reliability, and scalability requirements.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Support infrastructure as code, monitoring, logging, and application observability.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the development lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security and governance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in full stack software development.
- Experience in software architecture, solution design, or technical leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and software development best practices.
- Experience designing scalable enterprise applications and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with modern frontend and backend development technologies.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to mentor developers and lead technical discussions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience serving as a Scrum Room Architect, Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Lead Developer.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep).
- Experience working in enterprise-scale Agile delivery environments.
- Cloud certifications (AWS or Microsoft Azure) are a plus.
