Job Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable Online English Tutors to provide high quality academic support to US students through live online sessions. The ideal candidate should possess excellent English language skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for helping students improve their reading, writing, grammar, and overall language proficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one online English tutoring sessions.
- Tutor students in: o Grammar o Reading Comprehension o Vocabulary o Literature o Academic Writing
- Assist students with homework, assignments, quizzes, and exam preparation.
- Guide students in essay writing, editing, and proofreading.
- Provide constructive feedback to improve language and writing skills.
- Assess students' learning needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Encourage critical thinking and independent learning.
- Deliver engaging and interactive online tutoring sessions.
- Maintain professionalism and a positive learning environment.
- Keep accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress.
- Meet quality and performance expectations.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree or higher in English, Education, Literature, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Strong knowledge of English grammar, writing, and literature.
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using online teaching platforms and virtual classrooms.
- Reliable laptop/desktop with a stable high-speed internet connection.
