Job Description – Safety Officer
Position: Safety Officer
Experience: 2 – 5 Years
Location: Kurnool / Pune
Qualification: Any Degree / Diploma (Any Discipline)
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and statutory regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments at project sites.
- Monitor and enforce the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Identify unsafe conditions and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases and prepare reports.
- Maintain safety records, permits, checklists, and statutory documents.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness activities and mock drills.
- Ensure compliance with client-specific HSE requirements at sites.
- Support site teams in implementing safe work practices.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and regulations.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to conduct safety training and awareness sessions.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in Industrial, Manufacturing, Construction, EPC, or Project Sites.
- Safety-related certifications will be an added advantage.
