ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY:
· Safety officer is responsible for monitoring & assessing hazardous and unsafe situation and developing measures to assure personal safety
· Comply with Safety requirements of Mining Regulations
· Ensures daily & weekly site inspection report and update all records
· Perform monthly inspections and audits of pit operations
· Communicate the monthly reports through planned communication meeting
· Identify problem areas and facilitate problem-solving
· Compile safety-related reports and safety statistics
· Lead, facilitate and compile Risk Assessments and Audits on-site
· Compile procedures and safety systems on-site
· Assist with training and implementation of relevant safety systems.
· Safety officer needs to organize safety training sessions for new employees & refresher and advanced training for existing workers
· Communicate and liaise with Management on safety & health aspects.
· Stay abreast of latest safety and health developments, support and advise Management on matters of health and safety.
· Coordinate OHS management system implementation andmaintenance with all stakeholders
· To organize periodic meetings of safety council and involve in safety programs initiatives
· Safety officer to act as rescue/emergency operator
· On daily activities does includes breath azalais for every day workers safe entry & exist
· Safety responsible for breath analyser, illumination study, speed gun on daily checks
· Safety officer is responsible for induction of visitors, new joiners etc….
Safety officer is responsible for timely update and schedule the mock drill practice
Pay: ₹114,000.00 - ₹142,000.00 per month
