Restaurant Captain – Job Description
A Restaurant Captain supervises the service team and ensures guests receive smooth, professional, and friendly service.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcome guests and assign tables.
* Take food and beverage orders when required.
* Guide waiters and ensure proper table service.
* Coordinate with kitchen and bar for timely order delivery.
* Handle guest complaints politely and professionally.
* Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and table setup standards.
* Check bills and ensure correct payment process.
* Train junior service staff on menu, service style, and grooming.
* Report daily issues, guest feedback, and staff performance to the manager.
Requirements
* 2–4 years of experience in restaurant service.
* Good knowledge of food, beverages, and menu items.
* Strong communication and guest-handling skills.
* Ability to lead waiters and manage busy service hours.
* Presentable, disciplined, and polite personality.
* Basic billing/POS knowledge preferred.
Salary: As per experience and restaurant standards.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
