As a Senior NetSuite Consultant at Plative, you will be advising and implementing NetSuite solutions to our portfolio of customers. Candidates for this role should possess a deep knowledge of NetSuite's capabilities in the Retail & Wholesale Distribution space and high-level knowledge of common industry-specific integrations. You will act as a knowledgeable advisor to customers, uncover business requirements, and configure effective solutions that address the customer's requirements. Plative is a fast-paced, agile environment, so you will be involved from project inception to completion and will work on multiple projects at the same time.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver basic to complex NetSuite implementation projects, including solution design and project management.
- Facilitate and lead customer discovery meetings, identifying opportunities beyond the initial scope and tracking findings in the project backlog.
- Delegate tasks to analysts and guide their work to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Flag project limitations and issues early, and work with senior consultants and architects to address them.
- Prepare design documentation and present configuration and design recommendations to customers.
- Raise design risks, constraints, and critical dependencies to senior consultants and architects, and work together to resolve them.
- Communicate delivery risks, including budget, schedule, and scope, to project managers and lead consultants.
- Guide testing approaches for internal QA and customer UAT.
- Handle core configuration tasks, including complex business logic.
- Advise customers on leading practices and make configuration and design recommendations.
- Serve as the expert business process owner for core processes.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience implementing NetSuite within the Products industry.
- Strong understanding of NetSuite core configuration, including complex business logic.
- Knowledge of SuiteSuccess methodology.
- Experience with NetSuite Inventory Management and Warehouse Management System (WMS) configurations, Ship Central.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for working with customers and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in spreadsheet-level data transformations.
- Familiarity with leading practices in the NetSuite ecosystem.
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous project management and solution design experience.
- NetSuite Certified ERP Consultant or SuiteFoundation certification.
- Experience with NetSuite OneWorld or multi-subsidiary implementations.
- Working knowledge of SuiteScript, with the ability to read and debug scripts alongside developers.
- Exposure to AI-enabled NetSuite workflows, including Agentforce, NetSuite MCP, or other agentic tooling.
- Experience with system integrations across eCommerce and sales channels, including platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, eBay, and similar marketplaces.
- Experience with 3rd Party TMS including Shiphawk, Pacejet, WMS, RF-Smart, and Highjump, or other equivalent warehouse and logistics software solutions.
- Experience supporting pre-sales activities, including SOW scoping.
- Experience mentoring or guiding analysts.
- Experience with multi-entity structures or recurring revenue and licensing models.
- Experience with Jira and Google Workspace.
