The position demands continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and collaborating with different teams to maintain system stability and performance, thereby supporting the overall business objectives effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and address system issues promptly.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their problem-solving capabilities.
- Ensure documentation of incidents and resolutions to support knowledge sharing.
- Continuously evaluate system performance and recommend improvements.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM System i (AS/400) RPG IV.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex application issues on IBM System i platforms.
- Strong knowledge of system integration and batch processing within IBM System i environments.
- Ability to analyze system logs and performance metrics to identify root causes.
- Familiarity with change management processes and version control in software support.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on maintaining high system availability.
