About the Role Our team is seeking an experienced Python developer with expertise in API development. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Develop and maintain databases using PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity and security
- Implement automated testing and validation procedures to ensure API quality and reliability
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall codebase
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to continuously improve API development
Requirements
- Develop Python applications with 7-15 years of experience, focusing on API development using FastAPI
- Utilize PostgreSQL, including database design, development, and maintenance
- Apply strong understanding of API design principles, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture
- Leverage experience with automated testing and validation frameworks
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
